TermsBerry (Interactive)

The TermsBerry visualization tool shows the most frequently occuring terms in the corpus (dataset) but also their relationship to other terms in the berry. Hovering over any of the terms will reveal which ones appear in close proximity to the active term - i.e. collocated terms - with the level of saturation indicating the frequency of collocation within a specified range of words. Use the sliders to control the number of terms shown ("Terms"), how many words to include the collocate range ("Context") and the degree to which the scale of the circles reflects the proportional frequency of the terms ("Scale").

Each TermsBerry visualization below represents terms from all tweets containing the #MAGA hashtag sent on each respective day. With fewer terms selected, the berries are very similar; however, as more terms are included, the distinct political events of the day become more visible.

One drawback of the TermsBerry is that it can be difficult to take all the terms in at a glance. The Cirrus Tool is better suited to getting a quick overview of term frequency.
